Welcome to the first cruise ship terminal built exclusively for Virgin Voyages at PortMiami. On February 13, 2022, Richard Branson was on hand for the opening ceremonies of this brand new 3-story terminal. Built on an old coconut grove, the building canopy is designed in shapes replicating Miami’s iconic palm trees incorporating large angular skylights. The massive window walls give passengers an unobstructed view of their waiting vessel and a direct view of the Biscayne Bay area and surrounding blue waterways.
Fish Construction manufactured and installed the millwork to blend with the minimalistic, midcentury interior design. Our company furnished all interior millwork including passenger check-in island counters and mobile check-in counters, RockStar VIP bar areas, and DJ booth. Solid Surface material in Virgin’s signature red color was utilized on the counters, as well as panels of white oak slatted wood on others. Customized floor-to-ceiling architectural wood panels were fabricated and installed along the terminal walls leading up to the Embarkation Lounge.
