Sacramento International Airport

Sacramento’s new Terminal B provided a centralized check-in terminal for passengers, creating better passenger flow through the terminal area and offering space for future expansion.

FCI manufactured all interior millwork for the new Terminal B including check-in counters arranged in 4 central pods, self-service kiosks, curbside counters, information desks, and wall paneling throughout the Terminal. Counters were fabricated with custom back-painted glass, stone, and steel. This project headed by Austin-Walsh JV and Corgan in association with Fentress Architects was completed ahead of schedule.

The airport was awarded LEED Silver certification for meeting high-level sustainability goals through the use of solar-shading window panels, reclaimed redwood timber and other energy efficient design features.
